Adam had his first "official" baseball game yesterday. He played ball for the YMCA last year but he said that wasn't real baseball. Now he is in real baseball. It looked like he might not have his first game...it was supposed to be at 9 a.m. We got a call from the coach that the fields were too wet and they game was going to be cancelled. Adam was very upset. A little while later the coach called back and said the fields would be ready later in the day. So the game got moved to 2 p.m. Adam did a great job. His first hit was a long shot to center field. He played short stop and first base. Mike was excited to discover yesterday that he can switch hit. We might have a ball player on our hands!
