Andrew at 8 weeks

Andrew is now 8 weeks old! While that is exciting it is also sad for me...it means I only have 4 weeks left of maternity leave and then back to work.

Andrew did pretty well this week. He did have one night that he slept from 10:00p.m. to 4:30 a.m.!!!! That was really exciting. It didn't last though. He made up for it the next night by waking up 4 times!!!! He must be going through a growth spurt right now. He wants to eat every 2 hours. If we try to get him to hold-out for three hours it isn't pretty. He is pretty good at screaming to the point that his face is turning bright red with a hint of purple.

He does throw a good fit...

He is as cute as ever and starting to smile a lot more. He has been discovering that he has hands and will sometimes reach out to grab something. Matthew and Adam still adore him and want to help as much as possible.

John was here this past weekend to run the Geist 1/2-marathon. He did really well, finishing in 1 hours and 52 minutes. To celebrate we had a really nice cookout with Karen and Jim Saturday evening.

Only 7 more days of school left and then the fun really begins!!!!
