Saturday was James' birthday party at Gymboree and Karen's birthday. All the kids had fun playing. After the party the boys and I went to Resort Tempel for the Memorial Day weekend. The weekend was spent fishing and swimming in the lake. Matthew and Adam both learned to get around in the row boat by themselves. They love it and Andrew enjoyed his first overnight trip.
The big birthday boy.
While sitting by the lake I decided it needed a name. John, Dad, and I spent the weekend trying to find the right name for the lake. Some of the names we came up with....Pine Tree Lake (boring), Lake Pinus (the Latin name for pine tree but we couldn't go with that one, it sounded too much like penis and the boys thought that was great), Finger Lake (if you look on Google Earth the lake looks like a hand with fingers), Falanges Lake (that was the best one so far). There was also one name that John came up with but we won't post it here....you can ask him. After researching for a few hours, dad found documentation that area was once an underground mine in the late 1800's and early 1900's called the San Pedro Mine. He also found that the lake was a strip mine from 1942 to 1943 with no name. So the name we came up with......San Pedro Lake. There are a lot of little coves. Matthew is taking on the responsibility of naming all the coves. So far we have turtle cove, bass cove, and river cove.

Andrew is doing great. He is now 9 weeks old and so cute! He likes to smile a lot, especially if you talk to him. He was having some digestive issues and acid reflux. We switched him to soy formula and he is doing much better now. He can actually lay down on his back! He had his two month doctor's appointment today and now weighs 12.5 pounds (68%) and is 22 inches long (38%).

Andrew at 9 weeks. He is so cute!

Ah, but he does get mad pretty easy. This is the sad warm-up to a good fit. Notice the puckered lip. It gets me every time.

His brothers love him so much!
Getting ready to go fishing. Andrew didn't think much of it but he did like hanging around in the carrier.
Only 2 more days of school left!!!!
