Wednesday was a day for trying new things. Mike and John went to play golf at Ocean, nothing new there...but Sanida and I took the boys crabbing for the first time. We didn't really know what we were doing but how hard can it be. You buy the net and raw chicken and throw it in the water. The first throw we caught a crab!!!! After that we didn't have much luck...we caught a lot of hermit crabs. A nice man from Tennessee tried to help us but it wasn't meant to be.

After crabbing we went to South Beach and the boys made shark necklaces. They had a lot of fun doing this. On the way back to Harbour Town we stopped by Baynard Ruins. They boys loved looking at the old plantation house (they believe that pirates used to live there). The rest of the afternoon was spent at the beach!

For dinner we feasted at home on fresh shrimp, watermelon, and corn on the cob. YUM! The rest of the evening was spent crabbing. We had much better luck this time! In no time at all Mike had caught 4 crabs! By the end of the evening we had 10! Instead of throwing them back we took them home and cooked them. Dinner tonight!
