Matthew was a member of the Hamilton Southeastern Sports All-Stars this year. He and two of his other team mates were chosen to play in a double-header that took place Monday night. The first game was really great. Matthew played left field and second base. He hit awesome and got an RBI at every at bat. They won 11 to 23. The second game could have gone a little better. He was catcher for a few innings and some outfield. His hitting was still really good but the other team was really on their game. Matthew's team lost 12 to 38! He didn't care...his comment was "It is O.K., I had fun and we all get the same size trophy!". At least he wasn't upset! The trophy was declared the best trophy he has ever received and had to be placed in a special place. It is on our mantel along with his hat and an All-Star baseball he received from his team the Pirates.
